Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it's alarmed concerning the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at SRD Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider issue established for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
