SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed with regard to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services position made for intervention ordeals a high influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
